Lovable tyrant, Tyra Banks, has been conspicuously absent from the rebooted version of her legendary reality show America's Next Top Model. Rita Ora took on the duties of beauty dictator for the 23rd season — excuse me, cycle — of the show, and while the reinvention of the classic was surprisingly stylish throughout, ratings had dropped significantly. Now, Tyra might be calling for Rita's head: she wants the pretty British pop-singer fired.

According to OK Magazine, Tyra isn't entirely feeling the new direction of ANTM and wants Rita out; Ty was reportedly "furious" when she heard about the ratings slippage. Although Banks took a step back from her duties at the reality competition, she's still acting as executive producer on the show, which means she's got the authority to oust the petite host.

Cast Mag complicates the story by reporting that a rep from VH1 has stated that Rita was “a total pro” and they are “thrilled to have partnered with her."

ANTM cycle 23 concluded on March 8th with the coronation of the bubbly, purple-haired India Gants as our country's prettiest person. What's in store for cycle 24 remains to be seen. Although, here's an idea: a reality show to decide who will host Top Model next time around? I think it could be a real hit.
