It wouldn't be a very nice place to visit if discussion was so limited by 'red-tape' and unreasonably restrictive/unfair rules it would likely effect membership and I would imagine that would not be in the site's best interests.

Yes. But I didn't say they're NOT fair, I think they're actually far more lenient (with everyone... Not selectively) than the majority of forums I've been on
. I was only pointing out that the rules are theirs to make and, as you also pointed out, every member is free to "vote with their feet". I'm not even saying just put up and shut up, people can and should make suggestions, but there's no real place for making demands. No one has any "rights" here, beyond the scope of the law (E.g. Having the right not to be abused or threatened) or the "right" to be here at all... Its entirely at the owners discretion.
