It's now officially out and I've got some bad news....for those that want it to flop because it's better than the show but it still has it's problems.

Positives:
Zinger One Liners, there's alot of good ones
Character Development, There's more here in 2 hrs than there's been in over 120 eps of the original show
It's not dark and gritty (People do die however, on screen)
The Krispy Kreme placement is so blatant but it's also funny at the same time

Negatives:
Pacing, it felt really uneven at times
It kinda felt like they smushed two different scripts together by two different writers
They put alot of effort into the film but there's alot more they could've done with it but I'm satisfied

I'd say it's a 7.75/8 out of 10, go see the movie.

Rita is the original Green Ranger, Zordon was the Red and Rita killed his whole team. Rita doesn't get sent into space but is trapped at the bottom of the sea from a meteor sent by Alpha hitting the earth.

The Zeo Crystal rumor is confirmed

The original Tommy and Kimberly do make an appearance in the crowd looking at megazord after the Rangers defeat Goldar and Rita. (This is where Rita, in a last ditch effort trying to defeat the rangers, is literately BITCH-SLAPPED by the megazord into space and most importantly the moon. She freezes up but she's likely not dead. Hopefully there's not astronauts on the moon right now

There's a midcredits scene where the detention supervisor does a roll call, says "Oh we have a new student, his name is Tommy Oliver" and it cuts to a desk in the back with a Green Jacket, he's not there and there's an explosion in the hallway, which then the supervisior says "Billy Cranston!" (Billy likes blowin' things up in this because his dad was a miner) and Billy replies saying "My bad"
