THE VILLAGE IDIOT
Years ago we had a village idiot
His name was Sid E. Ghet.
He stood 7 foot 3 and a bit
Most of the time he'd sit
He was so stupid he was brainy
Although his face was very veiny
Anyway, he went away to live some
Other place
Just in case I left a note in advance
And do you know, by chance, he read it.
'It said goodbye, you fool,
You were a right tool,
The best idiot this village had
To see you go is very sad.'
