BOTH LEGS THE SAME AGE
My aunt was called Betty, you see
A normal person, didn't have a degree.
But one day her knee went and that,
Just after she'd tripped over the cat.
'Oh heck!' she yelled, 'my knee has gone'
She knew that moment something was wrong.
A trip to the docs then took place
Along she went nice dress all lace
'Doc, my right knee hurts so bad', she whined
The doc looked back and said, 'never mind'.
Your knee is old, that's the trouble you see.
But my aunt was confused between you and me.
'But my left leg is the same age!'
She said, 'is it the cartilage?'
'Here's some pills the doc said'
Take two now, and get off to bed.
And you know what she did.
I'm not gonna kid
She took no pills and the pain went
Which was what fate had meant.
