A US strike group is moving towards North Korea as tensions mount over despot Kim Jong-un’s nukes with Trump threatening to “act alone” against the secretive state.
The Navy force will move toward the western Pacific Ocean near the Korean peninsula, a US official told Reuters on Saturday.
The moves comes as Kim Jong-un continues drive forward the nuke-mad state’s advancing weapons program.
North Korea has carried out five nuclear tests – two of them last year – and expert satellite imagery analysis suggests it could well be preparing for a sixth.
Earlier this month North Korea tested a liquid-fueled Scud missile, which only travelled a fraction of its range.
