That's why only in groups of three or more; I was using exactly the same tactic but then one would come in from the side unseen while I was luring them towards the blast wires

That was pretty early on to be fair, I'd just dodge & hardpoint arrow now probably. My Hunter bow has near enough + 150% damage thanks to all the purple drops from the Thunderjaw
(I carry a separate Hunter bow with 150% fire, too).
