Earlier this year I decided to start up a new channel focusing on Mixed Martial Arts. MMA had been something which I'd had a passing interest in for a while, and the videos were intended as informative pieces decided to appeal to viewers unfamiliar with the sport.
The first two videos got solid viewership, around 600 to 700 views, but after I posted the third the viewership has skyrocketed. 100,000 views in the space of five weeks and the comments section blowing up because of it. I would never go as far to call myself a celebrity, but it is surreal to see so many people interested in what I have to say.
And it got me asking, what sort of 'YouTube persona' do you have? Are there subjects you produce videos on and what sort of feedback and response do you get for it?
