Piers Morgan causes OUTRAGE on Twitter after making disrespectful comments on mental health issues




Piers Morgan sparked controversy once again this week when he decided to take to Twitter to air his views on mens mental health.


In his tweet, Piers suggested that males should ‘man up’ and quit talking openly about their mental health issues. His views arose after Prince Harry and William recently opened up about their mental health struggles following the death of their mother in 1997.
The 52 year-old journalist and presenter tweeted:



X Factor contestant Che Chesterman who came third in the 2015 series was just one of the tweeters who made a stand against Piers’ controversial remarks:



Piers later followed up his views stating: “Tackling mental illness is important. Also important not to make very young person feel like they have a mental illness.”

Yet, he also commented that young people now seem to be “‘jumping on the ‘Look at me, i’m a victim bandwagon'”.
