This for me too, 40 days is long enough imo (I've always felt BB went on too long even in the early series
) Most series of BB drag in the last few weeks so short and sweet is fine (although I don't even think that 40 episodes/6-ish weeks is 'short', it just is compared to what we're used to... it's still a fairly long time.)
