Yeah this is difficult because I don't generally make an effort to watch movies I think will be terrible
I thought 'The Hunger Games' would be a lot more watered-down and wishy washy than it was, but I had good hopes for it so I guess that doesn't count.
I can't even think of the major franchises because the last Star Wars was excellent, but I never expected to be
that bad... Oh I have one! Shrek Forever After. After the Third, which was a steaming pile of dog turd, I really didn't have any desire to watch the last one and tried to avoid it until I had to watch it around family, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Doesn't hold a light to the first two, of course, but I'd say it was good.
I guess 21 Jump Street would be another one because who would've thought Channing Tatum would be quite funny?
