Corbyn was up and down, I like his idea to renationalise the utilities and the trains...though that was barely touched on, paxman was all over the map, babbling on about monarchy ? get a grip and even trident has been done to death...apart from the korean man child no one wants to fire a nuke, move on... paxman was crap on those issues, though he was good to go after mcdonnell wanting to dismantle mI5 ...corbyn was strangely ruffled and evasive on that....
His stance on europe will of course be his downfall, but he made a valid point about uk becoming a tax haven...sadly he ducked the question on how much we should pay the EU for leaving their basket case coporate club...shame corbyn bottled even guessing a migration target and bottled answering whether there is a benefit freeze... and the other ...his endless demands to raise the living wage for unskilled workers is a bit mental tbh it will lose 100s of thousands of jobs. ..he was weak on the falklands questions imo...thatcher did make a meal out of it to win votes but the united nations negotiated solution was mealy mouthed nonsense, the argies invaded british territory, thats war...he sounded flakey on hamas too and the ira....though the fact a peace was found in ireland does show the end goal was at least achieved. I also found the way he mentioned the manchester horrors by saying how evil it was to kill women and girls....why seperate the female victims from the male ones? sounded a really crass reach out to female votes
May wasnt too impresive either . yea shes smart and experienced...she claims to be strong and stable, but her many flip flops have eroded confidence...she basically didnt answer how and why shes changed her opinion on brexit...in fact I cant remember any specific answers from her.....The fact as home sec, immigration was 100s of thousands over her predictions looked absurd, though at least the rise is falling if you get what I mean...Shes been allowed to coast and lets face it barely answer specific questions throughout....Endless repeated cliches. really pathetic tactic. be open and honest woman and tell us what the heck youve got planned
aA piss poor election campaign will see a low turnout at the polls. at the end of it all, everyone gets what they want, may gets a rich mans paradise, the economy will continue as it is, zillions of part time jobs, mediocre wages and massive profits at the top. Houses will remain unaffordable. Housing benefits will continue to be paid to tenants who steal it to spend on booze, fags and drugs. But panto villain paxman doesnt ask those specifics he asked about abolishing monarchy ffs...Theres more chance of corbyn flying to mars in a dustbin
Corbyn will be loved by young female students who will cry because santa corbyn hasnt been given the keys to the treasury and allow labour to bankrupt us all again.
