I can understand them not having gays if the entire point is sex/showmances. As even putting a couple of gay people in is unlikely to result in anything as they might not even fancy each other. That is the kind of show that it would make a lot of sense to have a spinoff series for gay people I think. A whole island full of gay men, then maybe a series of lesbians also.
