I like Big Brother being in the summer and would never really like it to move but in fairness I remember thinking that BB12 airing in the autumn wasn't actually that bad? In an ideal world the pointless summer CBB would be axed but it's not going to happen so either:
Late May - Late June: CBB (so as to get a head start on Love Island)
Late July - Late September: BB
OR
Late May - Late June: CBB
Early September - Early November (to avoid IAC)
I don't think civilian at the start of the year would work really. I actually think the saddest thing about either of these scenarios is that the new house design would be for CBB and the modifications would be for civilian
