Sharon Osbourne has denied claims that she is planning to quit The X Factor at the end of the current series.

A report in The Sun today suggested that Osbourne wanted to focus on Simon Cowell's US show America's Got Talent, after signing a three-year deal with the NBC programme.

Recent reports have claimed that Osbourne does not get along with new X Factor judge Dannii Minogue, though this was denied by Cowell.

A source told the newspaper: "Sharon has been shuttling between LA and the UK while filming X Factor and America's Got Talent, so she didn’t feel quite 'in' with everyone during recording. And she's fed up with Cowell trying to pit her against Dannii. She feels that it's time to move on."

However, a spokesperson for the show insisted: "With regards to the story in today's Sun, there is absolutely no truth in the reports that Sharon will be leaving The X Factor at the end of the year. We are currently in LA filming with Sharon, which she is thoroughly enjoying."

Osbourne added: "I have absolutely no plans to leave The X Factor at the end of the year, I've had great fun filming this year's series and I'm really looking forward to the live shows."

Show producers were recently forced to deny claims that Sharon had tried to sabotage last year's series.
