No... On a betting site you have to provide a payment method because, well, you have to bet money. The fact that you can provide a payment method such as a credit card is proof in itself that you are over 18.
Anyine who willingly gives their credit card deets to a free porn site - requirement or not - is BEGGING to have that card emptied overnight. Card fraud will go through the roof. It's also essentially "putting your name to the porn you watch" and taking away the anonymity, leaving these sites wide open to hacking and viewers open to blackmail. All of this is a massive, and needless, invasion of privacy. People have been looking at Internet porn for two decades at this point... And as far as I know, by some miracle, no one has imploded yet. Today's 21 year olds who grew up with the Internet are not traumatised sexual deviants. They're making a problem where there isn't one.
