Thanks for everyones help, I am feeling much much better about things now. I know its a major change in lifestyle but its for the better.

I now have my blood sugars stable and they are coming down slowly which is what the docs want. Going down too much would be bad for me and the baby. But they are within a save level now.

Injecting is getting much much easier, and quicker too.... I am a dab hand at it now....lol

I have a scan next week so make sure she is not getting too big with the extra sugars in my blood.

Like people have said, I may not need to inject for the rest of my life as there is tons of research going on and like bananarama said even artificial pancreas are in their early stages.

So there is hope for the future.

It will certainly stop me from going back to smoking and it will also make sure I get tons of exercise once babs has arrived.

So super fit and yummy mummy for me
