I wouldn't worry about it, most 16 year olds I know are the same! Tbh there's plenty of people in my uni who are ignorant to anything that's not modern so you're certainly not alone.
Well the Linda McCartney brand is still around. I don't think she had much imput in to the making of the food anyway, she and Paul were just very high profile vegetarians and using her name was a good way to create awareness of vegetarianism.
