I’d probably have a biased view, but I definitely think that it’s worthwhile keeping an open mind in terms of other cultures and different people. It makes you more of a world citizen rather than closed-minded.

At the same time though, I think it’s important for people who move to other countries etc. to be appreciative of the fellow peoples’ beliefs, and for those people in turn to be tolerant of theirs. However ignorance seems to be becoming a lot more apparent these days and that’s where the problem lies: it’s also why countries such as Britain feel as if they’re losing their identity.
