I agree with what Gracie said...
It's a minor situation but i'll refer you to this:
Muslims demand prayer rooms in public buildings such as colleges.
The college gives into their demands at the risk of seeming prejudice against said Muslims.
Christians demand a prayer room [to be fair, christians don't seem to shout orders around to accomodate their beliefs in public buildings anyway.]
Christians are told by the college there's no call for it, that praying can be done anywhere and are refused a special room. Or the college simply ignores the request until everyone forgets about it.
It's situations like that, that cause the problem of ethnic "minorities" [soon to be majorities.] gaining everything they desire. Such as a mega mosque in London that's the size of several football stadiums so ive heard...a church of that size would never even be contemplated.
How can our country promote equality, when clearly certain people are gaining special treatment?
If we look at Big Brother, Germaine Jackson got away with calling Jade Goody and her mother WHITE trash..a direct comment about her skin colour. Jade Goody got in serious trouble for referring to a persons last name as a type of foreign food.
Also, if we look at other countries such as Japan...
The culture is VERY strong. We fail tremendously in comparison.
Nobody in politics or the government can speak up about the situation however, or they will be branded prejudice/racist instantly. Hence why the problem will never be addressed and we will continue to accomodate for people USING us to provide them with decent lives.
If coloured and ethnic people continue to increase their population to the point that they out number whites, will this still be classed as our country?
When all of those people stem from foreign countries.
Because if/when that day comes, we'll seriously have to start thinking about that.
