I know plenty of people who've never watched it and have no intention to start simply because it's not the sort of show that interests them. Makes sense tbh, it's a bit sheep-ish for someone to watch something that they're not really actually that interested by just because so many others watch it.
Of course, not watching and then commenting on it's quality (or apparent lack of) makes much less sense.
