I'd imagine cbb gets a fair bit of international viewers. 4th Impact (a Filipino girl group who lost to Louisa Johnson in the X Factor) used to get well over 50% of the votes on Tellymix poll iirc, and a lot of Irish and American housemates also do a lot better in the polls than in real life (Hughie, Tiffany etc).
For me personally, looking at those numbers, I'd still say Karthik is safer than Marissa.
