I love Rylan. I remember his first BOTS, he was very nervous and hesitant, and I thought at the time he might face the chop soon. By show 3 he had made it his own.

I think the ongoing dislike of Rylan from certain quarters stems from their desire to be cutting edge and a wish to demonstrate that they are more clever than the rest of us. Other extremely successful multi-talented show hosts like Bruce Forsyth were never seen as cool by such people.
