What does it matter as long as the detectives don't find out? He trusts Sean and Sandi.
....and we already know he doesn't like Sarah, not many do, he has no loyalty to her - why would he? He didn't ask to be partnered with her.
I think Sarah has told Chad - when Paul was quizzing her in the bedroom tonight, she was close to giving herself away...Chad looked over at her and raised his arm up in the air as if to say 'be careful'.
