It just seems decent, fair prices, large store, good products, extra's such as DVD's/games/music...plus they're sucessful enough to even sell their own clothing, so they must be doing something right.

M&S do the same, but they're a clothes shop that also sells food. Often more expensive food.

Sainbury's and Tesco's were secretly investigated by undercover reporters posing as staff..and it was found they mishandle their meat. They often serve meat from a bag with no sell by date on, and tell you that it's brand new and fresh..whilst also cutting raw liver etc, then using the same knives to cut the meat they serve you without cleaning the knife first. Which can easily result in salmonella.

I remember going in Aldi once, and the only brand of food they sold was Jammy Wagon Wheels lol..
Sorry but I think tins saying "No Frills. Baked Beans covered with tomatoe Sauce" is never a good thing. They also had a massive bargain bin type thing where single mums dumped their childs old prams to be sold.
