What did you build? I've been building my own for about 15 years but haven't put together a new rig for like 4 years . It's still going strong to be fair (gtx780, overclocked Ivy Bridge i5, 16gb DDR3). It'll still play new releases at 60fps on "high" but very high and ultra are fading fast .

I want to put together an i7 + 1080ti system so much. The idea gives me a little geekgasm. But I can nowhere near afford it at the moment.
