We have somehow enabled the creation of a generation of naive, gullible, entitled, group- thinking people who live in their own 'progressive' little bubbles which is impacting on the freedoms previous generations fought so hard for. To them free-thought that doesn't agree with their thought processes is 'offensive' and should be shut down at all costs.
Higher Education is supposed to give people the tools for free-thought enabling them to challenge dictatorial behaviour, not create it. It seems to be having the opposite effect and taking youngsters back to their school days when everyone has to think the same and peer pressure is the name of the game. Having differing opinions is healthy and is what makes the world go round constantly encouraging people to THINK FOR THEMSELVES.
