You can't compare BBUK winners to BBUS/Can winners because the formats are different and thus what constitutes a deserving winner is different, as is how I judge housemates and decide upon favourites.

The benefit of the US format is that regardless of whether you like a winner or not, they have at least won on merit and through their own effort - they have earned it. Winning BBUK is often as simple as 'befriend everyone, say nothing for 8 weeks, fly under the radar to escape eviction and then appear in the final week xx'.

For what it's worth, I prefer waaay more US/Canadian winners than UK ones.
