I looked on Ebay and there were some good coats between £12-£20. Brand new. Delivery in two working days. Free shipping.
Before I bought one, I thought I'd visit the charity shops and see if there were any bargains there. It's about 3 years since I've been in one but what a shock.
A dull shirt with a missing button and frayed collar £4.50.
A pair of old shoes some old goat had worn and sweated their feet in, the cost? An incredible £8.
Then I turned to the coats. A fake leather jacket for £25.
. Loose stitching inside.
An over-washed fleece, £11.
No surprise, I left. Pronto.
