For someone who wasn't really an important or memorable asset to BB8, Jonathan was actually kinda terrible? For the most part, he was up Carole's ass and rallied against Charley and Nicky as a result, mainly Nicky, because she caught him perving on her one time in the bathroom and he couldn't handle that she had him sussed and stayed the **** away from him. Then his grandmother passed away and he walked and that's what people remember him for the most (if anyone remembers him at all) so there's not much else to say really?
