My store is a hospital one so we have lots of doctors/nurses buying there lunch from M&S so I try and get through them quickly. If someone’s doing lots of scratch cards at peak time then I can see customers getting frustrated in the queue. Anytime after 2 is fine though.

I agree with you. I go on the lottery and it is a bit frustrating when people turn up with a big wad of them, once a woman brought so many, must have been 30 odd cards, no word of a lie and as I scanned them on the lottery some were not even winners so the other lady who was in the kiosk started to sort them into winning piles and the woman insisted we scan them still. Worst thing was she moaned she had to hurry as her bus was due soon and she ended up getting about £20 out of all the tickets.
If she was in a bloody rush why hand in 30+ scratch cards your too lazy to check and insist on being scanned and expect it done in 2 minutes.
