BIZARRE rocker Pete Burns is starring in the first GAY Celebrity Wife Swap – with footie hardman Neil “Razor’’ Ruddock.

TV Biz can reveal the transvestite Dead Or Alive singer moved into the East Sussex home of the soccer tough nut and his seven-month-old daughter for the Channel 4 special.

And producers were left ducking for cover as Celebrity Big Brother star Pete unleashed his infamous poisonous tongue on Razor, 39.

Meanwhile Neil’s girlfriend, busty glamour girl Leah Newman, spent a week living with Pete’s “husband” Michael Simpson in his London home.

Pete, 48, tied the knot with Michael in a civil ceremony in July, while Neil and Leah, 25, are unwed.

Amazingly, Razor admits there is some common ground between him and Pete, saying: “He’s a geezer too — but the difference is he wears thongs and dresses like a bird.”

But things take a turn for the worse when Pete cosies up for some romance.

An insider said: “They have already filmed the swap and there have been big bust-ups. It’s fair to say it’s kicked off.”


All four participants will meet up for the notorious face-to-face scenes today — which usually sparks a row.

The special will kick off a new series of Wife Swap in the autumn.

Neil, former Liverpool and Spurs centre back and star of I’m A Celebrity, has two children aged 14 and 17 by his ex-wife Sarah.

He bedded ex-Playboy model Leah while visiting troops in Iraq and they got together in 2005 after Sarah dumped him due to his cheating.

Singer Pete’s love life is just as stormy.

He was with his wife Lynne Corlett for more than 20 years, then publicly announced his engagement to Michael on the Richard And Judy show in February 2006.

However, only a day after the announcement, Pete declared the engagement was off, as Michael was finding it hard to deal with his new recognition by the public.

The pair eventually wed last month.
