Default Rebekah Vardy came close to quitting again

Quote:
REBEKAH Vardy is set to enter the I’m A Celebrity jungle - but yesterday she almost pulled out completely through fear of leaving her four children behind, the Sun Online can exclusively reveal.

The 35-year-old wife of England and Leicester City ace Jamie Vardy has been “really panicking” about being separated from her kids and has already made special arrangements to ensure that she spends as little time away from them as possible.

An insider said: “She's going in - but she nearly pulled out yesterday.

“She's really worried about leaving her kids behind, she's never been away from them and she's really panicking about it.

“She was about to pull out because she can't bear the thought of being away from them for so long, however she has now arranged to fly them out too so that they are with her the minute she leaves the camp.”

Our source added: “Rebekah is going to be the last celeb to land in Australia because this has been such a last minute decision and she doesn’t want to be separated from her family any longer that necessary.”

Rebekah who shares 10-month-old son Finlay and daughter Sofia, three, with Jamie, and has Megan, 11, and Taylor, six, from a previous relationship, ultimately agreed to fly Down Under because her kids were desperate to see their mum on the ITV family favourite show.

The insider continued: “The only reason she agreed to do it in the end was because her kids begged her to do it. They're so excited to see her on TV.

“She was asked last year to do it but she said no because she wasn't famous, nobody knew who she was and she didn't want the public thinking she was fame-hungry.”

And as Rebekah readies herself to face the terrors of Bushtucker Trials, they will likely pale into insignificance compared to the trauma of the vile online abuse she has received over the years, which resulted in her alerting the police.

She recently told The Sun: “I posted a picture of Sofia to thank a company for sending her some hair clips. She was smiling in her dad’s football shirt.

"Then I got such a vile message from someone wanting to rape her. It was shocking and out of the blue.”

Months later Rebekah — Becky to friends — received more vitriol online for an innocent tweet she posted about her son Finley, who is now seven months old.

She said: “Someone tweeted that he should have been stillborn. It was beyond upsetting.

"I thought, ‘This just isn’t right. That’s it.’ ”
