I only played from chapter 9 after the additions were made so I don't know what was or wasn't there before... But I still found a big chunk pretty "empty", from after the Regalia gets trashed up until finding Prompto was basically just Noctis running down long empty corridors collecting key cards... It's tedious. Like they made an attempt at stealth / survival horror / jumpscares but it's never scary because, even though you only have the ring for most of it, the ring seems majorly overpowered. "OH NO a scary bbbzzzrrrtttt *pop* and it's gone." that said, based on the fact that Prompto is level 34 in the DLC and my Prompto at that point was level 72... There's a chance I was a bit over levelled...

There are a few narrated cut-away sequences that I feel like might be what was added? I honestly can't think of anything else it could be.
