EastEnders legend Jessie Wallace's representative has confirmed that she was caught in a terrifying real-life bar fight recently.

Police in Bromley confirmed to the Evening Standard that they were called to The Partridge on Thursday night (December 8) after receiving reports of commotion at the pub.

A law enforcement official told the newspaper that they arrived to find a man with facial injuries. No arrests were made on the night, but an investigation is ongoing.

Jessie Wallace was at the pub last night with fellow cast members from her panto production of Snow White at Bromley's Churchill Theatre. Her co-star Jason Sutton was reportedly the man injured in the fracas.

BBC journalist Lesley Ashmall was in attendance, and told the Standard that "two blokes stood up and started shouting and throwing glasses" after being refused a picture with Jessie Wallace for being intoxicated.

A spokesperson for Jessie Wallace confirmed that she remains distressed over the incident, but will still be performing in panto at the Churchill Theatre as planned this weekend.

"Although very shaken by the intrusion into her private time with her family and friends, Jessie is looking forward to being back on stage," her spokesperson told Digital Spy.
