We have those who have been battling for years to have their cases of historic abuse recognised, whole care homes full of kids who have stated they were victims, from various establishments connected to certain geographical areas or faiths.

Why this guy? How did Rolf Harris get away with spending only 3yrs in jail with all the accusations leveled at him? Clifford was cleared of the most serious accusation in 2016. ... My theory is this was payback... he'd stood on too many toes and exposed one too many people during his career.

I'm all for victims getting justice but following the Saville enquiry I think Operation Yewtree were offered up some sacrificial lambs too appease the public to take the pressure off those higher profile establishment figures.
If he was not guilty he would have fought harder.

When Jim Davidson was excused he spent millions clearing his name and left himself bankrupt so if he was innocent why did he not put up a fight?
