I preferred the old system of fourth place,third place and then 2 people in the final and the winner revealed and other revealed as runner up.

Yeah its stupid, someone asked all the finalists last week if they would want to know the placings and they all said no as it might hurt someones feelings
BIB2 - I think the difference is shows like Im a Celeb and CBB mainly have z listers/people from crappy shows like Gergie Shore, Made in Essexx, while Strictly might not get A listers but they get household names that people know and dont go down the root of getting nobodies from crappy shows like Made in Chelsea etc. So obviously to the producers they dont want to show the results as it might make people not want to join in future seasons.... thats just my view
