I think the fundamental misunderstanding here is that an actual black person's face = "blackface". To clarify for LT; blackface is, specifically, a NON black person "blacking up" their face to imitate... Actual black people don't have "blackface"

As for the "unfortunate" jewellery choice - it would take A LOT of convincing for me to believe that she didn't know exactly what she was doing
