I used to get called a swot when I was in juniors. I joined a new school in the third year when my parents divorced and I moved with my mum. I came top of the year and everyone hated me. I ended up having a fight with the cock of the school (hardest pupil in the year) and beat him. Lol. After that I didn't want to be a swot any more so I became a bit of a tearaway, getting the cane a few times, detention every week etc, and just generally being disrespectful to teachers and such. I let it bother me, but I shouldn't, as they were only jealous of me. So if someone calls you something, just think how pathetic they really are. Don't let yourself be dragged down to their level by calling them names too or fighting with them.

Just say "yeah I am, so what", as has already been mentioned.
