Like it or not, she was an MP that could vote on these things because she was voted in by the majority of people in her constituency, she was voting on behalf of a lot of people. Doing her job believe it or not. And luckily the majority ended up disagreeing with her and who she represents, so now we have gay marriage, transexual operations on the NHS, and a bunch of great stuff that we would never have had if the LGBT community simply disregarded everyone that disagreed with their movement.

Views can be changed, but through discussion and teaching. Not through refusing to laugh at a funny old lady because she believes in different things to you.
