Anyway, I don't see that it's "sick" to do this type of thing. It just highlights the person's desperation. In his mind he won't be using his father's memory in any sick way(since he most likely did love him and does miss him) .. he's simply dialling into his sadness at a time of convenience. But as you'll see if/when you watch it, when something like this is forced rather than happening naturally, it doesn't come across well.

I know what you're saying , well Daniel is playing a game.
But if it's not that long ago since his dad died he'll still be choked up about it surely
. Plus you never get over a loved ones death.
