But why then, when he ran a campaign on a pro-EU stance, and won a majority, would the French people think this? Well its complicated isn't it because you might want the chance of a referendum without having a fascist party in power. They don't have to go hand in hand. So I'm not sure the French people can be viewed to have said no to a referendum.
