Maybe we were very lucky to have such open and tolerant Grandparents, who believed life is short and for living, anyway you wanted to legally.

I came out as a Gay man in about 1975 when in my early 20s. My Gran was totally OK with it and she was born in the early 1900s. When I first went out with my now husband in 1978 and visited my Gran she was more than happy to let us sleep in the spare room together. She had no issues at all with us being Gay. Thus, the excuses being made about Ann's age as an excuse for her bigotry and homophobia really doesn't hold, sorry. She is what she is: a bigot and a homophobe!
