Spent the weekend watching these two...
Call Me By Your Name - was good but for me it felt like we didn't see the "full picture" of that love story. Elio falling in love wasn't as blatant/clear as it should've been, there was little to no emotions up to the very last moment before they kissed. It's like something was missing in this love story. The last shot is great
The Edge of Seventeen - Another lovely coming-of-age film. Believe the hype - totally worth it. Hailee Steinfeld is a S-T-A-R. Nothing surprising or extraordinary in the plot, because this is the genre, but it's being done so well so it doesn't even matter if it's all quite predictable. Great soundtrack as well
