That's struck me too. Older gay people have had to endure all kinds of crap in the past, and yet here they are, enjoying the integration and the freedoms they have, and that they are entitled to, and not spending time wallowing in the drama of "calling people out". And yet if someone was
actually homophobic, they'd be the first to stand up, for themselves, or for other people.
