Yes and no

Some people go Ott with teeth whitening and if they aren't careful, look like they have a set of false teeth. If you have them whitened more than the lightest natural tooth color, they won't look like real teeth and it surprises me how many people do that.

My natural color scores fairly high, so why I had them moved up two grades was foolish. Some people however, have naturally gray or even reddish brown teeth and it doesn't matter how much they floss or brush, they arn't going to change the natural color. As you get older your teeth naturally darken or yellow from enamel erosion, which shows the darker dentin underneath. If people can have that dentin bleached then why not?

Our teeth are the first thing people see when we open our mouths and talk or smile. People with nice teeth are known to be more confident.
