Monday 15 October 2007 7:00pm - 7:30pm on ITV1.

Reeling from the news of Diane’s (Elizabeth Estensen) affair, Jack (Clive Hornby) waits at Annie’s Cottage for her return from a shopping trip. Meanwhile, Victoria sees Billy (David Crellin) outside Hope’s café and warns him that he’ll get his comeuppance. Worried by her tone, Billy tries to call Diane but her phone is engaged. Diane is on the phone to Val (Charlie Hardwick) who, against her instincts, tips Diane off that Jack knows Billy is the other man.

Despite Val’s warning, Diane decides to face the music and rushes home to try and rescue her marriage. She finds Jack waiting for her at the kitchen table. He calmly asks her who she has been sleeping with behind his back. She denies sleeping with anyone and Jack is incredulous that Diane continues to lie. Jack bombards her with questions about her affair with Billy. Diane begs for forgiveness. Jack tells her that she’s killed their relationship and declares the marriage over as there’s a knock at the door….

Elsewhere, Gray (Christopher Villiers) is annoyed when Katie (Sammy Winward) asks him how Perdy (Georgia Slowe) is coping. He confronts Perdy about confiding in Katie instead of him. Perdy admits she’s struggling to trust him after what happened with Rosemary. Will Perdy ever be able to trust Gray again?

***Programme Information for the rest of the week follows***

Tuesday 16 October 7pm

After hearing from Billy (David Crellin) that Jack (Clive Hornby) was responsible for Sarah’s death, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) seeks out her mother’s former lover Richie Carter (Glenn Lamont), begging him for the truth about the barn fire. When she asks him point blank if Jack was responsible for her death, Victoria interprets his silence as confirmation of her fears.

Later, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and Jack return to Annie’s Cottage and are shocked to see Victoria dousing the house with petrol. Holding up a lighter, Victoria demands Jack admit to killing Sarah. Knowing he can’t hide the truth any longer, Andy confesses he started the fire that killed Sarah. Stunned by the revelation, Victoria races upstairs and trips, gashing her head on the banister before locking herself in her bedroom. Jack breaks down the door. Victoria has passed out and is bleeding badly. Andy tends to Victoria, as Jack goes to the bathroom to get a damp cloth. As he turns on the hot water tap, the boiler pilot light ignites petrol fumes creating a fireball which blows out the cottage windows. The fireball shoots up the staircase cutting Jack off from Andy and Victoria. As the fire takes hold the Sugdens fight to save their lives…

Elsewhere, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) tricks Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) into meeting a potential new client at a strip club so she can spend time with David (Matthew Wolfenden). Dressed to the nines she volunteers to take Jasmine’s place in the pub quiz. At the quiz the women’s team get suspicious when Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is quick to answer every question and is rumbled when she drunkenly answers before a question is read. She’s overheard and the girls team gets disqualified for cheating. There's more bad news when the coach taking everybody home breaks down and everyone is forced to check into the hotel. Nicola seizes the opportunity and invites David back to her hotel room. Will David succumb to her charms or stay loyal to Jasmine?

Wednesday 17 October 7pm

The villagers return from the pub quiz to see the devastation of the fire. Meanwhile, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) confides to Jo (Roxanne Pallett) that if he had confessed to starting the barn fire years ago then none of this would have happened. Worried by what could happen to Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) he tells her it’s time he told the truth. As the police turn up to question the survivors will Andy finally admit responsibility for Sarah’s death?

After hearing about the fire on the radio Lexi (Sally Oliver) returns to the village. Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) is thrilled to see Lexi has returned. Carrie (Linda Lusardi) is relieved to see her as well and promises Lexi she wants to make amends. Is Carrie prepared to take the next step and tell Scarlett the truth?

Elsewhere, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) tries to blame the mix up over the cleaning booking on a rival company. Determined not to let Nicola get one-up on her Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) says she should thank them, as it resulted in her getting the scoop on the fire. Later, Nicola taunts her about her night with David (Matthew Wolfenden). Will Jasmine rise to the bait?

Thursday 18 October 7pm

Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) is questioned about the fire and shocked when the police ask him if he started it. At the same time Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) is interrogated. She tells the police that Andy didn’t want to lie about the fire and wanted her to get blamed for it. Will Victoria try to pass the blame on to Andy as retribution for her mother’s murder?

Elsewhere, Edna (Shirley Stelfox) is shocked when her estranged sister Lily (Anne Charleston) turns up on her doorstep. Lily explains she’s in Europe visiting Peter and wanted to drop by, but senses that something is bothering Edna. She explains what happened with Diane, Billy and Jack and confides she thinks Billy may have started the fire at the Sugdens and feels guilty for turning Billy away in his hour of need.

Meanwhile, Katie (Sammy Winward) is feeling down after getting her decree absolute. Chas (Lucy Pargeter) tries to perk her up insisting they go out on the pull to celebrate. Katie agrees that it’s time for her to move on. Chas gets the impression that Katie already has her eye on someone and asks her about her mystery crush. Will Katie come clean about her feelings for Gray (Christopher Villiers)?

Friday 19 October 7pm

With Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and Victoria’s (Isabel Hodgins) futures still hanging in the balance, the fire continues to plague the Sugden household. Will village life ever be the same again?

Elsewhere, Perdy (Georgia Slowe) argues with Gray (Christopher Villiers) that moving to America would speed up their surrogacy application but he remains non-committal. Later, Matthew (Matt Healy) tries to convince Perdy to leave Gray and tells her a baby won’t solve her marital difficulties. Perdy insists to Matthew that she’s staying with Gray and they’re moving to America. Matthew is stunned. After seeing Perdy and Matthew together, will Gray reconsider a move to the US?
