I dunno... I wonder if Shane was a bit TOO far the other way... I can almost see him in the current situation having been happy enough to join up with Negan. Like maybe not become a full Saviour, and not become a "slave group" to them, but maybe would have been happy enough to form an alliance with them? Then again, on balance maybe that wouldn't have been such a bad idea
