I find this really weird. I don't watch the BAFTAs, but do people usually get huge applause? I cannot believe that people would purposely stay silent due to her clothing choice, especially a large audience. I just cannot see it happening :S

Viewers watching at home were also unimpressed.
They took to social media to share their views on Kate’s fashion decisions.
One wrote: “Disappointed in #KateMiddleton #DuchessofCambridge not wearing black to the #EEBAFTAs. It’s not a political thing. It’s a woman thing! #TimesUp #StandTogether.”
Another tweeted: “How does Kate not feel any shame sitting right at the front with a green dress while every other woman is wearing black.

Its not unusual for people to tweet rubbish about stuff either tbh.
Basically, the only bit that may be newsworthy is the apparent stony silence when she entered. and I really cannot see a large crowd all refusing to applaud or whatever because of this. Most of the crowd would surely not even know about this 'campaign'?! Or disagree with it..and as such would pay no notice to the colour of her clothes

Everybody knows it's royal protocol to stay above ANY campaigns. If anything she went as far as she could with the outfit to show her support.
Move on, nothing to see here. Some rags like the Sun will never learn. I guess they must hate women asserting their rights.

Also possibly this.
