How exciting. Wonder whether it's male or female. I bet the housemates are just as nervous as the newcomer.

I don't envy the new person - even though the others have only been in the house a week, they've started to form alliances and friendships so it may be a bit tricky for a latecomer.

I'm sure they'll all do their best to make the latest housemate welcome though.
